From a visual point of view, the new special model impresses with the BRABUS WIDESTAR widebody version with numerous carbon elements and the 23-inch BRABUS Monoblock Y “Platinum Edition” hi-tech forged wheels, painted in gold to contrast with the black body of the vehicle.

This special color scheme continues consistently in the exclusive interior design of the BRABUS 800 in fine leather with “bucket” rear seats.

EXTERIOR. BRILLIANT. BRABUS 800

In accordance with the name of this special model, the body of the BRABUS 800 BLACK & GOLD EDITION model is painted black. In addition, it features gold brake calipers and gold BRABUS emblems and logos, matching the interior. In addition, the appearance of the vehicle is characterized by the BRABUS WIDESTAR widebody version. This gives the current G-Model an even more massive look and, at the same time, makes this exclusive off-roader ten centimeters (4 inches) wider than the production car.

In addition to the flared wings, this modification of the body also includes special bands in the front and back, which give this supercar an even more dynamic design. On this edition model, it also includes matte black air intakes behind the front fenders and equally black center sections of the front and rear fascias, reminiscent of a skid plate.

Also part of a BRABUS 800 BLACK & GOLD EDITION are the individual elements, such as the two golden uprights in the radiator grille or the shiny naked-carbon design elements, such as the hood fixing device mounted on the upper part or the LED light unit above the windshield.

POWER & SOUND. OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE.

However, the special model BRABUS 800 BLACK & GOLD EDITION captivates not only with its captivating appearance and exclusive equipment, but also with high performance in its purest form. After the installation of two high-performance turbochargers and other modifications, the four-liter twin-turbo eight-cylinder BRABUS 800 engine produces a maximum power of 588 kW / 800 hp (789 HP) at 6,600 rpm.

At the same time, the maximum torque increases by 150 Nm (111 lb-ft): An impressive 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) is available at a low speed of 3,300 rpm. We exclusively use high-tech lubricants from technological partner Motul for the entire propulsion system. The road performance of the BRABUS 800 BLACK & GOLD EDITION model is consequently superior for a vehicle of this type: From rest, the new BRABUS supercar sprints to a speed of 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds . The maximum speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h (150 mph).

Superior performance is complemented by a thrilling exhaust note: Thanks to an integrated actively controlled exhaust valve, the BRABUS sports exhaust system made of stainless steel with two black chrome side pipes on each side of the vehicle offers electronically controlled sound management with the possibility of choose between a discreet “Coming Home” mode or a pronounced sporty V8 sound.

WHEELS & CHASSIS. GOLD PLATINUM.

The flared wings of the wings from the body modification create space for the BRABUS Monoblock Y “PLATINUM EDITION” forged alloys of dimensions 11Jx23 front and rear. These nine-spoke wheels that taper towards the outer edge of the ‘Y’ shaped wheel are also painted gold to match the model name and are identified as high quality forged wheels with a ‘GOLD PLATINUM’ badge on the outer flange.

Advan Sport high-performance tires in size 305/35 R 23 are supplied by BRABUS technology partner: YOKOHAMA.

The “BRABUS 800 BLACK & GOLD EDITION” badge on the handle on the passenger side is not the only thing that immediately attracts attention in the passenger compartment. The interior designers of the refinement specialist have created a particularly exclusive BRABUS fine leather interior for this supercar. Matched with the paint finish, the interior is dominated by black leather, which has been highlighted with gold BRABUS labels and with a series of elements such as the controls, the air vents, the speaker grills or the surrounds, which all have a golden glaze.

The refined interior fittings also demonstrate the BRABUS upholstery workshop’s love of detail: A typical example is the shell-shaped quilting on the surfaces of the seats and on some parts of the door panels. In addition, all these leather-upholstered areas are perforated with precise precision and, in addition, fascinate with the golden fabric that shines through the perforations and thus gives life to the BRABUS 800 BLACK & GOLD EDITION motto.

Carbon contours with glossy sealing accentuate the sporty design of this special model. Other exclusive BRABUS elements in the interior are the aluminum pedals and door locking pins, as well as the stainless steel protective plates with the backlit BRABUS logo.

BRABUS interior designers have replaced the standard rear bench with two “bucket” seats that offer numerous comfort features, such as multi-contour adjustment, memory and ventilation and integrated seat heating.

Between the two rear seats is the new BRABUS central console, which was developed especially for the current G-Class and, in accordance with the BRABUS 800 BLACK & GOLD EDITION concept, was covered with black leather and gold elements. This serves as a comfortable armrest for rear passengers. In addition: A 4.3-inch BRABUS Touch Control Panel has been integrated into the upper part of the console, close at hand.

This panel also provides access to the standard COMAND system of the G-Class. For example, it allows the audio system to be adjusted up or down or even turned off from the rear. The reading lights and the starry sky in the ceiling light can also be controlled with it.

A USB multimedia port, also integrated in the upper part of the console, close at hand, allows connecting a smartphone or tablet to the COMAND system and, of course, charging them. Two cup holders cool or heat the drinks of the rear passengers. Another important feature of the console is the integrated safe. This drawer opens electrically at the front only after entering a code on the touch control panel.
