BRABUS G63 800 “BLACK OPS” celebrates its debut on the island of Sylt in the North Sea, as part of the BRABUS VIP SUMMER TOUR 2019. The basis for the exclusive high-performance off-roader, which is built in a strictly limited edition of only ten vehicles, is the current Mercedes-AMG G 63.

Equipped with the spectacular BRABUS WIDESTAR widebody and 23-inch BRABUS “Platinum Edition” hi-tech forged wheels, it is distinguished not only by its special color combination, but also in terms of the exclusive BRABUS fine leather interior design.

POWER AND SOUND. REMARKABLE PERFORMANCE.

However, the special model BRABUS 800 “BLACK OPS” captivates not only with its captivating appearance and exclusive equipment, but also with high performance in its purest form.

The BRABUS G63 800 “BLACK OPS” four-liter twin-turbo eight-cylinder BRABUS 800 engine with two high-performance turbochargers produces a maximum power of 588 kW / 800 hp (789 hp) at 6,600 rpm. At the same time, the maximum torque increases by 150 Nm (111 lb-ft): The engine puts out an impressive 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) at a low speed of 3,600 rpm. BRABUS uses high-tech lubricants from technological partner MOTUL for the entire propulsion system.

The performance of the BRABUS 800 “BLACK OPS” on the road is, consequently, remarkable: the BRABUS supercar sprints from rest to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h. A thrilling exhaust note accompanies the superior performance.

The stainless steel BRABUS G63 sports exhaust, which on the special model also catches the eye with the two black chrome tailpipes that protrude from either side of the vehicle, offers electronic sound management thanks to its actively controlled integrated flap. It offers the possibility to choose between the subtle “Coming Home” mode and a decidedly sporty V8 sound.

EXTERIOR. APPEARANCE WITH CHARISMA.

Matching its name, the body of the BRABUS G63 800 “BLACK OPS” model presented on Sylt Island has a completely black glossy paint finish. In addition, the appearance of the vehicle is characterized by the BRABUS WIDESTAR widebody, which not only gives the current G-Model a spectacular appearance, but also adds ten centimeters (4 in) to the width of this exclusive off-roader.

In addition to the flared wings, this modification of the body also includes new front and rear bands, which give the special model an even more dynamic design. This also includes individual elements such as the two red uprights in the radiator grille or design elements such as the hood scoop or the LED lighting unit above the windscreen, which all feature a glossy naked-carbon finish .

WHEELS AND CHASSIS. DESIGN MEETS TOP TECHNOLOGY.

The flared fenders of this body modification create space for the huge 11Jx23 BRABUS Monoblock F “BLACK PLATINUM Special Edition” forged wheels. These cross-spoke wheels are also painted gloss black to match their name and feature a “BLACK PLATINUM” badge on the outer flange.

The high-performance tires with size 305/35 R 23 are supplied by technological partners BRABUS CONTINENTAL, PIRELLI or YOKOHAMA.

INTERIOR. INDIVIDUAL HANDMADE MASTERPIECES.

The interior can of course also be customized to suit the vehicle owner’s personal preferences. The same is true for the many variants of noble wood and carbon inserts, which can also be manufactured in a multitude of different colors and models. One of the first things that catches your eye in the cabin is the “BRABUS G63 800 BLACK OPS 1 of 10” badge on the grab handle for the front passenger.

In addition, the interior designers of the refinement specialist have created a particularly exclusive BRABUS fine leather interior for this limited edition model. To create a subtle contrast with the black outer skin, the interior is dominated by dark gray leather combined with black elements, as well as red cover stitching and piping. However, the interior also demonstrates the great love of detail that characterizes the work of the BRABUS upholstery workshop: This includes the embossed BRABUS logos on the black horizontal strips of the seats, as well as on the center sections of the seats, which feature perforations applied with top precision.

In concert with the red support below, they represent another point of attraction in the interior. Other exclusive BRABUS G63 interior elements are the aluminum pedals and door locking pins, as well as the stainless steel protective plates with the backlit BRABUS G63 logo. The custom-made bare carbon front plates take over the structure of the carbon body components in the passenger compartment.
